BELVIDE BIRDING

• Thursday, March 29, 2007 - Belvide Cloudy NW 3

A decent day with plenty of migrants on the move. 4 Swallow were the first of the year amongst 150 Sand Martin. 200 Meadow Pipit were feeding in fields just south of the reserve. A Little Ringed Plover was on the shingle island also 2 Redshank still on the north shore. 2 Blackcap were singing and a Shelduck dropped in late afternoon.
