BELVIDE BIRDING

• Monday, April 9, 2007 - Belvide Sunny start then clouding over W 2

Presumebly the same Osprey from yesterday was over the reservoir at 7.50am before drifting off north. A Green Sandpiper was below the dam and a Little Ringed Plover flew thru north. The Redwing was still in the west marsh and 2 Yellowhammer were on the woodland feeding station. Just 4 Wigeon remain. There is still only 1 Willow Warbler singing by the Gazebo hide. This evening 100+ Swallow, 50 Sand Martin and 14 Fieldfare were counted.
