BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, April 18, 2007 - Belvide Sunny NW 2

A quiet day with 2 Common Sandpiper on the dam wall being new arrivals. 5 Willow Warblers were a slight increase from yesterday. 1 Sedge Warbler was near the Bryant hide and 2 Little Ringed Plover were mating on the shingle island. The Redwing was still showing in the west marsh. The adult and 2 juvenile Tawny Owls still in the reservoir plantation. 70 Sand Martin were hawking high over the reservoir. 5 Wigeon still remain.
