BELVIDE BIRDING

• Saturday, April 21, 2007 - Belvide Cloudy SSW 2-3

The main highlight today was an OTTER that showed well to 5 lucky people this morning infront of the Scott hide. There was also a Mink nearby that was seen to kill a Coot.

On the bird front 15 Swift were overhead this morning also Sedge Warbler have increased to 7, and a Lesser Whitethroat was singing along the Gazebo bay. The Ringed Plover was still present also 2 LRP, and 5 Common Sandpiper. The adult and 2 juvenile Tawny Owls were as usual in the reservoir plantation.
