BELVIDE BIRDING

• Thursday, May 3, 2007 - Belvide Overcast then Sunny E 2-3

The Wood Sandpiper was still present at the west end also a drake Garganey still opposite the Bryant hide. 3 LRP were chasing each other around also 2 Common Sandpiper and a single Redshank. 2 Hobby were hawking over stretton wood. 2 1st summer Herring Gulls flew thru to the south west and 5 Common Tern were present. Myself, Barry Coumer and Graham Davies attempted a day list between 0730-1630 and managed to see a total of 84 different species.
