BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, May 20, 2007 - Belvide Fair Calm

A drake Garganey was new today also 2 Whimbrel dropped in briefly on the north shore before continuing north. 4 Dunlin were on the dam wall with 2 Common Sandpiper. The drake Wigeon was still present but the Goldeneye appears to have gone, 74 Mallard and 30 Gadwall were also present. A Lancaster Bomber flew over to the north east mid morning.
