BELVIDE BIRDING

• Thursday, June 28, 2007 - Belvide Cloudy W 3

The 2 Black-necked Grebe were still present again ranging between the Scott and Gazebo hides. 2 Egyptian Geese were new arrivals at the west end. Although only the 5th record for Belvide, my feeling is this will become a regular occurance in the future. The first returning Common Sandpiper was seen also a Hobby this afternoon. A  drake Pochard type hybrid resembling a Redhead was at the west end, present for it's 2nd day.
