BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, July 1, 2007 - Belvide Cloudy S 2-3

The 2 Black-necked Grebe were still present ranging between the Scott and Gazebo hide. Common Sandpiper have increased to 3. Worryingly there was no sign of the 2 Oystercatcher chicks on the Gazebo raft. 56 Tufted Duck were counted also 112 Canada Geese with 48 goslings. Kingfishers continue to be seen regularly around the reserve.

Peter Who?? At the moment the committee has more important issues in mind. eg Habitat management, footpaths, more Tern rafts, new hide ect. If you are offering your services please get in touch with one of the committee members and we can sought something out next year. We are one big happy family here and are always open to constructive opinion.
