BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, July 29, 2007 - Belvide Fair NW 4

4 Common Scoter including 3 drakes were new arrivals. The juvenile Black-necked Grebe was still present, Common Tern continue to increase with 37 counted. Warbler passage appears to have begun with 3 Lesser Whitethroat and 5 Willow Warbler seen. 11 Black-tailed Godwit landed briefly on the north shore mid afternoon before heading out to the south east. A single Redshank flew thru and 2 Green Sandpiper were reported this morning.
