BELVIDE BIRDING

• Tuesday, August 7, 2007 - Belvide Cloudy NW 3

The highlight of the day was an OTTER seen very well off the west lane bridge. 2 new juvenile Mediterranean Gulls were at the west end this afternoon also the juvenile Black-necked Grebe still. 10 Black-tailed Godwit dropped in mid afternoon including 2 juveniles. There were still 2 Common Sandpiper and 3 Snipe. Teal have increased to 19 also the drake Wigeon still. 3 Spotted Flycatcher were around the woodland feeding station. 113 Mute Swan were also counted.
