BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, August 19, 2007 - Belvide Light Rain W 2-3

The juvenile Black-necked Grebe was still present also 30-40 Common Tern still. 2 Common Sandpiper were the only waders noted. The ringing group had a poor session with 1 Whitethroat, 4 Willow Warbler, 4 Chiffchaff, 3 Blackcap, 3 Reed Warbler though a Sparrowhawk was a nice suprise.

For the last 2 weeks this odd looking leucistic female Pochard has been present (photo)
