BELVIDE BIRDING

• Friday, August 31, 2007 - Belvide Overcast NW 3-4

The first 8 Pintail of the autumn arrived today also 109 Teal, 133 Shoveler, 6 Wigeon, and a Shelduck were counted. 3 Swift were amongst the hirrundine flock this afternoon also single Hobby and Peregrine were seen. 1 Dunlin and 1 Common Sandpiper were the only waders noted. Cormorant have increased to 65, only 8 Common Tern remain and a single Yellow Wagtail was on the dam wall.
