BELVIDE BIRDING

• Monday, September 3, 2007 - Belvide Fair NW 3-4

In the gull roost this evening there was an adult Mediterranean Gull and a 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull. 2 Greenshank dropped in this evening also there were 2 Golden Plover amongst 744 Lapwing, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper and 3 Curlew came in to roost. 7 Common Tern remain. GC Grebe have increased to 132 also 376 Tufted Duck, 40 Pochard, 6 Wigeon and a single Pintail were counted.

A notice to permit holders. Ringing sessions this week will be on wednesday evening from 4.30pm, also thursday morning from 6am and Saturday morning from 6am.
