BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, September 23, 2007 - Belvide Cloudy S 3-4

The 2 juvenile Arctic Tern were still present. A single Green Sandpiper was the only wader present other than 7 Snipe. Migrants seen today included  a Hobby dashing thru to the south,1 Whitethroat, 1 Willow Warbler, 2 Blackcap and hundreds of Hirrundines moving thru to the south. 6 Raven flew over mid morning also 2 Siskin flew thru to the west. The eclipse drake Mandarin was still present also 6 Pintail. Up to 20 Tree Sparrow were at the Gazebo feeding station.
