BELVIDE BIRDING

• Tuesday, September 25, 2007 - Belvide Fair NW 4-5

3 Little Gull including 2 adults and a 1st winter bird were new arrival. Arctic Tern have increased to 3 juveniles. A female Merlin flew thru mid afternoon. The eclipse drake Mandarin was still present with 6 Pintail, 296 Teal and 490 Canada Geese. 2 Ringed Plover, 1 Golden Plover and 1 Common Sandpiper were the only waders noted. This Kestrel (photo) showed well infront of the Scott hide.

Great Site. Is that photo of the Kestrel digiscoped, if so what combination do you use. Excellent quality and great photo.

Hi Alrewas Birder. My set up is a Nikon Coolpix 4500 thru a Swarovski ATS80 HD. The Kestrel was pretty close, hence the decent picture.
