BELVIDE BIRDING

An adult female Garganey was a new arrival and amazingly our first bird of the autumn. 11 Shelduck were also new as was a noticable influx of Wigeon with 77 counted (24 yesterday) there were also 374 Teal, 3 Pintail and the eclipse drake Mandarin remains. 2 adult Mediterranean Gulls and an adult Yellow-legged Gull were in the roost this evening. 3 juvenile Arctic Terns and 1 juvenile Common Tern were still present. 3 Dunlin and 1 Curlew were the only waders noted.
