BELVIDE BIRDING

• Saturday, September 29, 2007 - Belvide Cloudy NE 2-3

The main highlight today were 3 Sandwich Tern, 2adults 1 juvenile that flew in at 2.50pm. They were present till 6.15pm. 3 more Little Gulls were also new including 2 adults and a 1st winter, they were present between 1.30-4.45pm. A different juvenile Arctic Tern also dropped in this afternoon and the juvenile Common Tern was still present. An adult Mediterranean Gull again roosted this evening. 2 Green Sandpiper, 2 Ringed Plover, 2 Dunlin and 1 Curlew were seen. 27 Redwing flew thru to the west during the morning.
