BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, October 10, 2007 - Belvide Cloudy E 1-2

The juvenile Grey Plover reappeared today again favouring the south shore infront of the Gazebo hide. 7 Golden Plover were the only other waders noted. Goldeneye have increased to 5 and 85 Wigeon was also a small increase. 3 Chiffchaff were amongst the Tit flock. A Hornets nest was discovered in a nest box on the northern edge of the reservoir plantation.
