BELVIDE BIRDING

• Saturday, October 20, 2007 - Belvide Sunny S1-2

A single Bewick's Swan flew in at 8am and settled down at the west end. This was a new bird for the year. There was also 199 Golden Plover, a Green Sandpiper flew over north, 2 Rock Pipit, 16 Goldeneye and 30 Pochard.

A skywatch off the dam between 0730-0945 produced 918 Wood Pigeon, 5 Stock Dove, 295 Fieldfare, 76 Redwing, 8 Song Thrush, 37 Chaffinch, 20 Greenfinch, 7 Linnet, 190 Jackdaw, 67 Starling, 5 Meadow Pipit.
