BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, November 7, 2007 - Belvide Overcast WNW 4

A single Turnstone flew thru this morning also 1 Green Sandpiper and 1 Dunlin were present. The male Stonechat was still on the north shore. A single Shelduck was new and 85 Greylag Geese were counted. 2 Chiffchaff were also seen this morning. A Teal with a red bill saddle that was fitted in Portugal is probably the returning bird we had from last winter. Also the Peregrine from a few weeks ago that had a white darvic ring had been ringed in Shropshire.
