BELVIDE BIRDING

• Friday, November 9, 2007 - Belvide Showers NW 3-4

4 Whooper Swans dropped in at 11.30 am and were present till 2.25pm when they flew out south east. 2 Egyptian Geese were present briefly this morning. A Black-tailed Godwit was a new arrival. The male stonechat has been joined by a female on the north shore. Goldeneye continue to increase with 51 counted at dusk also 242 Teal and 95 wigeon were present. 24 Meadow Pipit were on the north shor this afternoon and 13 Common Gull roosted.
