BELVIDE BIRDING

• Tuesday, November 27, 2007 - Belvide Overcast SW 1-2

Pretty quiet today with 3 adult Yellow-legged Gull in the roost being the highlight. The Redshank remains at the west end as do the pair of Stonechat. A Water Rail was infront of the Gazebo bay phragmities bed. A Sparrowhawk was seen to catch a Black-headed Gull this afternoon only to be disturbed and leave it high in a hawthorn hedge along the south east bay. 68 Goldeneye were counted at dusk.
