BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, December 16, 2007 - Belvide Overcast ESE 1-2

There was no sign of the reported Iceland Gull in the roost at first light this morning but the all white Black-headed Gull was still present and an adult Yellow-legged Gull. In the roost this evening there was an adult Caspian Gull and 2 adult Yellow-legged Gulls. Very quiet this morning with the pair of Stonechat and a confiding Kingfisher off the west lane bridge the only birds of note. 6 Bewick's Swans at Cop Mere on Friday afternoon were almost certainly the same birds that flew over Belvide on Saturday morning. (Thanks Chris)
