BELVIDE BIRDING

• Friday, December 21, 2007 - Belvide Overcast SE 1-2

The 3 Mealy Redpoll were again along the south east bay with 4 Lesser Redpoll. 4 Yellow-legged Gulls roosted including 3 adults and a 1st winter. The pair of Stonechat were at the west end and a Water Rail was infront of the scott hide at dusk. A late item of news for yesterday was the Short-eared Owl was seen again at the west end late afternoon.
