BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, December 30, 2007 - Belvide Overcast W 2

At least 1 distinct Nordic Jackdaw was below the dam at 12.30pm with 2 other possible birds showing much less contrasting collars in a much smaller group of Jackdaws. I think afternoons are probably best if anyone wants to look for these birds. They are favouring a cattle field at the A5 end of the dam.

2 Brambling flew over to the north west this morning and the pair of Stonechat remain at the west end. A Water Rail showed well infront of the Scott hide and 50+ Tree Sparrow were at the Gazebo feeding station. 4 Lesser Redpoll and 14 Siskin were along the south east bay.
