BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, January 6, 2008 - Belvide Fair SSE 1-2

The most unexpected sighting of the day were 3 Grey Plover that flew in at dusk and roosted on the dam wall. A 1st winter drake Scaup was also a new arrival. 2 Nordic Jackdaw were below the dam this morning in the cow fields. Mute Swan have increased to 24 and 69 Goldeneye were counted at dusk.
