BELVIDE BIRDING

A juvenile Glaucous/ Herring Gull hybrid roosted this evening and was the same bird as yesterday. Also 3 2nd winter Yellow-legged Gulls. The 1st winter drake Scaup was still present, Wigeon have increased to 128 and 57 Gadwall were counted. Goldeneye also continue to increase with 86 at dusk which is the highest count of the winter so far. 693 Lapwing were on the north shore this afternoon, a pair of Raven were over the north wood, also 2 Stonechat at the west end and 7 Lesser Redpoll were mobile between the Scott and Gazebo hides. Finally 3 Willow Tit were at the Gazebo feeding station.
