The 1st winter drake Scaup was still present, Pochard have increased to 94 also Wigeon were up to 140. 82 Gadwall were also counted. A possible Australian Shoveler (photo) was on the north shore this morning. Comments on the ID of this bird would be welcome.

Hi Steve I have Simpson @ Day Field Guide to the Birds of Ausralia.Australian Shoveler Blue Head White half crecsent on cheek pointing to eye.Large white patch 45 degree's from tail.
