BELVIDE BIRDING

• Monday, February 11, 2008 - Belvide Sunny Calm

The main highlight today was a juvenile Glaucous Gull that roosted at 5.20pm. It was a large individual with a noticable dirty head and breast. It is probably the bird that hs been near prioslee recently. 2 1st winter drake Scaup were again present, the first Curlew of the year flew over, also 2 Oystercatcher, 12 Golden Plover and 15 Snipe were present.
