BELVIDE BIRDING

• Thursday, February 21, 2008 - Belvide Overcast W 3-4

The juvenile Glaucous Gull came in early today, dropping in at 3.45pm. It showed really well as it sparred with the other gulls in the blustery conditions. The roost wasn't as big as the previous 2 nights with around 2500 large gulls roosting. The 1st winter drake Scaup was still present, a Curlew flew west late afternoon, 3 Oystercatcher and the female Stonechat was still at the west end.
