BELVIDE BIRDING

The first 2 Sand Martin were hawking over the water this afternoon. The Barn Owl was hunting the north west shoreline from 5.20pm. The 1st winter drake Scaup was still present, only 6 Pochard were counted and 90 Goldeneye were counted at dusk. 7+ Oystercatcher and 4 Curlew were also noted. The gull roost is petering out fast with 2 2nd winter Yellow-legged Gulls amongst only 150 large gulls also only 600+ BH Gulls.
