BELVIDE BIRDING

• Friday, April 4, 2008 - Belvide Overcast NW 2-3

The first Osprey of the spring flew thru to the north west at 4.20pm and I managed to get a few record shots of it. Single House Martin and Swallow were amongst 68 Sand Martin. 3 Blackap were singing around the reserve also an impressive 700 Fieldfare were seen in the surrounding farmland. At least 76 Goldeneye were counted this afternoon.
