BELVIDE BIRDING

• Saturday, April 19, 2008 - Belvide Overcast ENE 5

At 8am a drake Red-breasted Merganser dropped in. It was present until 8.14am when it flew off to the south west. The female Redstart was seen again by the fisherman's car park. 3 Yellow Wagtail were on the dam. A Reed Warbler was still singing by the scott hide and the Common Tern was still present. Single LRP and Common Sandpiper were on the shingle island and 19 Goldeneye and 4 Wigeon were still present.
