BELVIDE BIRDING

• Tuesday, May 6, 2008 - Belvide Sunny ESE 3

Not a bad day with a drake Garganey at the west end the first of the year. Also the first Whinchat of the year was in the west marsh. 10 Black Tern were present all afternoon also 7 Common Tern. A Ringed Plover and 2 Common Sandpiper were on the shingle island. 2 Shelduck, 2 Goldeneye and a drake Wigeon were still present.
