The main highlight today were 7 Crossbill that flew over to the south west at 9.05am. A family of 5 Raven were soaring above the reservoir this morning. 9 Common Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin and 2 LRP were present. A single Lesser Whitethroat was in the west marsh. The ringing group caught 62 new birds this morning with 9 Chiffchaff, 5 Willow Warbler, 6 Blackcap, 7 Reed Warbler, 2 Garden Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler and 1 Treecreeper.
