BELVIDE BIRDING

• Tuesday, October 14, 2008 - Belvide Overcast SSW 2

A 1st winter drake Scaup was anew arrival. A single Green Sandpiper, 7 Golden Plover and 24 Snipe were at the west end, but there was no sign of the Little Stint or Ruff. The Blue-winged Teal/Shoveler hybrid was still present also 2 Shelduck and a single Pintail. 2 Chiffchaff and a male Blackcap were also seen.
