BELVIDE BIRDING

• Sunday, October 19, 2008 - Belvide Overcast WSW 2-3

432 Golden Plover and 795 Lapwing were on the north shore this morning. The 4 Pintail were still present also 10 Goldeneye, 2 Shelduck, 239 Mallard, 222 Teal, 193 Tufted Duck, 8 Pochard, 1 Ruddy Duck, 11 Mute Swan and 28 GC Grebe were counted. An immature Peregrine and the male Stonechat were seen this morning.

A Skywatch between 0730-0930 produced  less than yesterday with 494 Redwing, 97 Fieldfare, 233 Wood Pigeon, 15 Chaffinch, 11 Linnet, 3 Siskin, 4 Redpoll and 15 Skylark.
