BELVIDE BIRDING

• Monday, January 5, 2009 - Belvide Fair ENE 2

Overnight snow of around 2 inches made the place look very wintery. The reservoir was still 90% frozen. The 2 Mealy Redpoll were still present with 6 Lesser Redpoll. A Woodcock flew infront of the Scott hide at dusk. 2 female Goosander were present and 3 Yellow-legged Gulls were in the roost this evening. A female Brambing was at the Gazebo feeding station.
