BELVIDE BIRDING

• Wednesday, January 14, 2009 - Belvide Overcast S 2

The main highlight today was a juvenile Glaucous Gull that came into roost at 4.25pm. The bird came in from the west, so you Shropshire boys and girls, get checking the Telford tips. There was also 2 adult Yellow-legged Gulls. 17 Redpoll were still present but very mobile, also 12 Siskin along the Gazebo bay. 2 Goosander, 83 Wigeon, 60+ Goldeneye and 8 GC Grebe were counted.
