An evening visit to Arne nature reserve - highlights were a batch of newly emerged Silver-studded Blues drying out in the sun and the large herd of Sika deer in their summer coats. Over on the bird watchers trail the newly built blind overlooking Middlebere looks a promising spot for Avocet viewing during the winter. Silver-studded Blues.  Sika stags. Common Tern. |
