It was a pretty hot day to be tramping up and down a hill looking for some very flighty butterflies but eventually they stopped long enough to take a photograph or two. Great views of the Somerset Levels from the top of the hill and a variety of orchids (Common Spotted, Bee and Pyramid) were all in flower. All thanks to the work of the National Trust. Large Blues.  Bee Orchid. Large Skipper. |
