Arrived at Bentley Wood car park at 10:00 and after some jostling eventually found a gap to park in. The Purple Emperors were in the car park and at the crossroads just up from the car park. The Green-flowered helleborine was opposite the car park entrance.

I really liked this site, being a keen birdwatcher myself. It was interesting to see some of the local scenery on the south, as well as the wildlife, me being from up in the midlands. But now i may do a spot of the old birding in dorset! and hopefully even run into u my hero!!Posted by John Allen
