It had turned a bit chilly by the time we arrived at the rings but the Early Purple Orchids were out and the Twayblades and Butterfly orchids were starting to appear. Butterflies were thin on the ground, still a little early in the year for them.  The Dingy Skipper  Early Purple Orchid |
