On the coast - Ballard Down butterflies - 8:04 PM, Tuesday, August 28, 2007

A case of better late than never for this summer and certainly the butterflies have appreciated the recent warm dry weather. Good numbers of Small, Common and Adonis blues on the downs.

Studland Bay.

Autumn Ladies Tresses growing on the top path.

Clouded Yellow.

Small Copper.

Common Blue.

Adonis Blue.
