On the coast - Encombe House - 4:31 PM, Sunday, September 16, 2007

Having just about recovered from last weekends illness it was good to get out again, on a circular walk around Encombe house. Lovely day, plenty of sun, blue sky and sea.

As a side note the Poole harbour Ospreys have not been sighted recently so they may have moved on (quite early compared to last year).

Buzzard perched on the obelisk.

Good view west to Arish Mell and White Nothe.

A Peacock butterfly on the dry stone walling.

Migrating south - a young Wheatear.

Swyre Head.
