On the coast - Dancing Ledge - 8:28 PM, Sunday, April 20, 2008

The Early Spider orchids are starting to spring into life, not quite at their peak yet, but still present in their thousands. Also inching up are the Green-winged and Early Purple orchids.

Gorgeous orchids - 5:24 PM, Thursday, May 22, 2008

Hallo Aidan, I found your blog when I was surfing for orchids on the downland between Seacombe and Anvil Point. My friend and I are starting to walk the Dorset coastal path in modest bites. I'm keeping a record of our adventure with a few photos taken along the way.I took pictures of all 3 species although the Early Spiders were all but over on May 5th. However my pictures were not very sharp, it being windy. Your work is lovely - the Green-Winged is a favourite of mine. cheers Jan
