Hod Hill (NT) - Marsh Fritillaries - 7:38 PM, Sunday, May 11, 2008

In sweltering conditions, the tramp up Hod Hill was accomplished and the reward was the sight of newly emerged Marsh Fritillaries on the wing. A few Dingy and Grizzled skippers plus a single Green Hairstreak were also on the wing.

The top of the hill comes into view.

Just emerged.

Pristine.

The aptly named Dingy Skipper.

and a Grizzled Skipper.
