In sweltering conditions, the tramp up Hod Hill was accomplished and the reward was the sight of newly emerged Marsh Fritillaries on the wing. A few Dingy and Grizzled skippers plus a single Green Hairstreak were also on the wing. The top of the hill comes into view. Just emerged. Pristine. The aptly named Dingy Skipper. and a Grizzled Skipper. |
