Midsummer - flowers. - 9:38 PM, Monday, July 14, 2008

Just like last year the weather has turned fairly dire and the butterflies are taking a battering. At least the flowers are enjoying the constant watering. On the bird front a single Osprey has been seen for the last couple of weeks at Middlebere.

Knapweed and a sheltering Marbled White (Badbury Rings).

Marsh Helleborine (Arne - Soldier Road).

Skullcap (Arne RSPB reserve).

Sea-spurrey (Arne RSPB reserve).
