I got a good view of a Yellow Warbler on the the ponds that stuck around for a few minutes.
I went back to the River Trail and saw a few of the regular birds like a White-eyed Vireo and found a Bells Vireo which was a lifer:

I came back two days later after going to visit Balcones NWR and fell into two lifers! a flock of Black Terns and a couple of Red-necked Phalaropes:
I also found some Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Baltimore Orioles, Orange-crowned Warblers and Louisiana Waterthrushes. I also saw a Wilson's Warbler which I didn't see all of last year, but now that I saw them in Colorado, I have seen several times since!

I saw a number of these birds at the same time when there was a mob of about 15 Carolina Chickadees, and another dozen Blue-gray Gnatcatchers fussing over something in the bushes for a good 5 minutes. Of course they were too deep to get good pictures.
