~~The first migrants started to trickle in with a Little Ringed Plover on the 13th ~ followed by Sandmartins 14th ~ Chiff Chaff 14th ~ Wheatear 18th ~ Swallow 25th and Blackcap 30th ~ 4 Stonechats were at University Way, Crewe on the 1st ~ 20 Siskin were at FF on the 1st ~ 2 Raven were over PHF on the 7th ~ Lesser Spotted Woodpeckers were at University Way, Crewe on the 8th and Rode Pool on the 17th ~ 52 Tree Sparrows were at EHF on the 27th ~ 20 Lesser Redpoll were at CBP on the 14th ~ 2 White Wagtails were at EHF on the 27th ~ the Willow Tit is still regular at the FF feeders and a Kingfisher was at University Way, Crewe on the 8th

    Not in the SECOS area but worth travelling the few miles extra to see 40 Waxwings by Hanley Bus Station. One tree with a rapidly reducing crop of berries by stand 26. Waxwings have been there for nearly two weeks with enough berries for maybe another week.
