RAPTORS AND OWLS COUNT SPARROWHAWK regular in the EHF/PHF area, 2 at FF on the 16th KESTREL regular in the EHF/PHF area, elsewhere, records from Macon Meadows and University Way BUZZARD very common in the SECOS area, 6 over FF on the 31st PEREGRINE regular in the Flashes area, 2 at EHF on the 25th elsewhere, one at Weston Road on the 1st LITTLE OWL 2 in Clay Lane on the 28th
GULLS COUNT YL GULL up to 2 regular at EHF/PHF COMMON GULL 65 were at EHF on the 27th MEDITERRANEAN GULL singles at EHF/PHF on the 2nd and 14th HERRING GULL regular in the Flashes area GBB GULL 38 were at PHF on the 10th GLAUCOUS GULL a single almost regular at EHF/PHF ICELAND GULL a 1st winter regular at EHF/PHF CASPIAN GULL a first winter was at PHF on the 1st

Not in the SECOS area but worth travelling the few miles extra to see 40 Waxwings by Hanley Bus Station. One tree with a rapidly reducing crop of berries by stand 26. Waxwings have been there for nearly two weeks with enough berries for maybe another week.Colin
